Activities organised by the central UG alumni department

The central UG alumni office also hosts events at various locations throughout the year. These gatherings bring together graduates from different backgrounds to reconnect, exchange ideas, and learn about recent developments at the University. Whether you are an early-career professional or more experienced in your field, these activities are valuable to expand your network - both in the Netherlands and abroad.

International alumni circles
The UG hosts events for alumni in cities across the world. From Groningen to Hong Kong to San Francisco, alumni meet each other in regions where many Groningen alumni reside. These alumni circles are supported by international alumni ambassadors: young graduates who share their Groningen experience with prospective students, alumni, and partners, and help strengthen the connection between their home countries and the University.
