International Alumni Chapters

The University of Groningen maintains many international chapters across the world, striving to connect our international alumni with each other and their alma mater.

Alumni chapters

Each of these alumni chapters adopts a special research project, for example to support a talented researcher, or to offer less privileged students a chance to obtain a good education. At this moment, there are alumni chapters in New York city, Washington DC, Zurich, Singapore, Hong Kong, Jakarta, the United Arab Emirates, and more. New chapters are also being developed.

Alumni events

Frequently, alumni gatherings are organised at different locations: up to twice a year, alumni come together to get acquainted or strengthen relationships and to stay updated on the latest scientific developments within the university. Each activity offers opportunities to both young professionals as well as experienced professionals to expand their network abroad.
