On Thursday 5 September FEB and EBF will jointly celebrate the opening of the new FEB academic year 2013-2014. This is also the start of the RUG lustrum year: the University turns 400! ► www.rug400.nl
Opening of the FEB-EBF Academic Year, with:
- Mr. Gerard van Olphen, CEO of SNS REAAL.
Van Olphen is a FEB graduate and is CEO of the large Dutch bank-insurer SNS REAAL since February 2013. Before, he worked for Achmea.
- Mr. Jan Sijbrand, Executive Director at DNB
Sijbrand joined the governing board of te Dutch Central Bank (DNB) in 2011 as Executive Director responsible for banking supervision and supervisory policy. Before DNB Sijbrand was Chief Risk Officer at NIBC Bank (2008-2011).
- FEB Professor of Financial Ethics Boudewijn de Bruin
