De uitstoot van broeikasgassen moet worden teruggedrongen. Om dit doel te realiseren heeft de Europese Unie in 2005 het Europese emissiehandelssysteem ontworpen. Een marktinstrument waar jarenlang veel kritiek op was, maar inmiddels is herzien. De sterke stijging van de C02-prijs is een teken dat deze hervorming begint te werken.

Together they are launching the Groningen Digital Business Centre (GDBC), a new knowledge centre that focuses on developing, sharing and transferring knowledge in the field of digital entrepreneurship. Verhoef and Alsem win prize for the best Marketing book and best Marketing textbook in the Netherlands

The winner of the Marketing Literature Prize 2016 of the Platform Innovation in Marketing (PIM) is the book “ Creating Value with Big Data Analytics” by FEB Professor Peter Verhoef. In addition, the prize for the best Marketing Text Book 2016 goes to “Merkpositionering”, by Dr. Karel Jan Alsem of the Marketing section.

Elsevier student survey: top scores for all BSc’s and MSc’s. Biggest winners: Econometrics, Economics, Finance and Business Administration

Two of FEB's four Bachelor's programmes were voted best programme by students (all four are in the top 3!), according to the Elsevier national survey. The BSc EOR is number one out of six similar programmes in the Netherlands and the BSc Bedrijfskunde ranks number one out of four. Of our MSc's the big winners are the MSc Finance (78% (very) satisfied students) and EORAS (81%): they both come in first out of three, and Economics (79% satisfaction score) which is number one of six.
