The University of Groningen organises a Master's Week from 24-28 November 2025.

Who is the master information for?

Our Master’s Week offers a week of sessions designed for you to learn more about what it is like to be a Master's student at the University of Groningen. You will have a chance to:

• explore your study options
• discover our programmes
• attend subject-specific sessions
• hear from students about their experience
• find out about the application process

• learn about support available to Master's students

Master's Fair 18 November

Are you still unsure which master's degree you want to pursue after your bachelor's degree? Do you want to continue in the field of your bachelor's degree, or are you considering a switch to another field? On Tuesday 18 November from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, all second- or third-year bachelor's students can acquaint themselves with a lot of the master's programmes the UG offers during the UG-wide Master’s Fair in the canteen of the Harmony building at Oude Kijk in 't Jatstraat 26

Often, you have more options than you think, although you may sometimes have to have taken a certain minor or certain subjects in order to be admitted. Get informed about your options and then register for the presentations of these programmes during the Master’s Week (November 24-28)!

You don’t have to register for the Master’s Fair.

Master's events 2026

From 2026 onwards, the setup of our master's events will be as follows: onsite Master's Open Days on 13 and/or 14 March 2026 and on 27 and/or 28 November 2026 and an Online Week from 7-11 December 2026.
