Rapid testing centre to close on 1 July

The UG, Noorderpoort and Hanze University of Applied Sciences are rounding off the rapid testing pilot project. This means that the UG will be closing its rapid testing centre on 1 July. We are, however, encouraging people to continue using the free self-tests so that we can detect infections swiftly and avoid transmitting the virus to others without knowing it. Free self-tests are available via the SURF digital portal: www.zelftestonderwijs.nl/.

Work stations for small groups in Oude Boteringestraat 18

We previously announced that work stations for small groups are available in Oude Boteringestraat 18. After reserving a work station in advance, you can meet up to work on an assignment, to revise together or to follow exam training. As from 7 June, you will no longer have to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test in order to use these work stations. One student must reserve a work station on behalf of the group via LibCal.
More information is available on ‘Can I come to the University?’.

Extension of opening hours for work stations in the University Library (UB)

The UB will be open seven days per week from 8.30 a.m. until 10 p.m. starting on Monday 31 May. The Central Medical Library will also be open seven days per week, from 8.30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The Harmonie Building will be open at weekends again during the exam period from 5 to 27 June.
