Explanation application documents
Certified copies
Please note that to enable us to start processing your application you can initially upload/send plain copies of your diploma, transcripts and language test score reports. Based on these documents, we can come to a conditional admissions decision. However, before you can be officially admitted, you will have to provide us with certified copies.
Our website explains what certified copies are.
Curriculum Vitae / Resume
Your CV should preferably list your previous/current education (incl. name of school/educational institution, official name of qualification, period of enrolment), relevant work experience and other relevant skills. If you are unsure about the format, you can use the Online Editor from Europass.

We would like to know why you are applying for the programme of your choice. In your motivational statement, you can include:
-
why you consider yourself to be a good candidate
-
what you expect from the programme
-
what you wish to achieve during and after the programme
Letter(s) of reference
You can upload these letters in the Progress Portal or your referees can send the letters directly to the Admissions Office from their institutional email address using the Admissions Office's contact form.
Proof of English proficiency
To be eligible for admission, you will have to meet the language proficiency requirements applicable to the programme of your choice. You can find more information about our language test and exemption policy on our page:
Transcripts
Please upload copies of your original transcripts (i.e. grade list, academic record) and, if applicable, their translations. If you have not yet completed all your courses, please upload a list of the courses (if applicable, incl. credits/units) that you will still be completing (before you can graduate).
If the programme of your interest has a GPA / grade requirement, please make sure that we receive a complete list of your grades obtained to this point. We will also need to receive information about the grading scale used at your institution. It is usually provided at the bottom or on the back of your transcript.
Writing sample/written report
Some Master's programmes ask you to submit a sample of your academic writing. The requirements applying to this writing sample can differ per faculty and per programme. Most programmes ask you to submit your undergraduate thesis. If this was not written in English, then please provide us with a summary of your thesis in English. Alternatively, you can provide us with any other relevant essay/paper of 10-15 pages.
