Starting dates degree programmes
The degree programmes at the University of Groningen have a limited number of starting dates per academic year with their own application deadline.
Deferral
Please note deferral is only possible within the same academic year (September- August). For example if you apply for September intake it is possible to defer next February intake(if your programme offers February intake) without paying the application fee second time.
If you apply for February intake it is not possible to defer to the next september intake. You have to pay the application fee to re-apply.

Starting dates Bachelor's degree programmes
The Bachelor's degree programmes have one starting date per year: 1 September.
In certain cases the Faculty Board may grant students permission to register for a different date. The possibilities and conditions for registration after 1 September are set out in the Teaching and Examination Regulations of the relevant degree programme.
