1. University College Fryslân Foundation scholarship
About the scholarship
Established in 2019, the University College Fryslân (UCF) Foundation aims to make the BSc Global Responsibility & Leadership programme accessible to talented students worldwide, regardless of financial background.
The Foundation believes that sustainable development requires inclusive leaders who can bridge disciplines, cultures, and perspectives. By raising funds and awarding scholarships based on need and merit, the UCF Foundation helps create a diverse learning environment where students are empowered to connect global challenges with local solutions.
We focus on supporting non-EU students, as they pay three times higher tuition fees compared to students from the EU/EEA.
Each year, the Foundation awards one grant of €30,000 to help cover living costs while studying in Leeuwarden. The grantee receives 10 monthly installments of €1,000 during each academic year to contribute towards their living expenses.
