Endangers waders in the Bohai Bay
The University is grateful that the Hong Kong alumni chapter decided to support the research of Ying-Chi Chan. With guidance of Spinoza winner prof.dr. Theunis Piersma, Chan researches the migration of birds between Northeast Asia and Australia. She mainly focuses on endangered waders in the Bohai Bay and their adaption to man-made changes in the environment.
Although Ying-Chi has research obligations in Groningen and will not be able to make it in person, you will receive updates as she is excited to share news about her recent fieldwork in Australia.
