The Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) are key factors on the route to a meaningful and resilient society, concludes José van Dijck, President of KNAW. The keywords of the SSH strategy are cross bordering collaboration and inter disciplinary research between academics. Read the speech which José van Dijck held at the conference ‘Societal impact of the Social Sciences and the Humanities’ in Utrecht. Researchers of the University of Groningen and a delegation of Research & Valorisation department, RUG, shared their experiences at the SSH meeting.
