University sensor activity in Canada
On behalf of the University of Groningen, President of the Board of the University Prof. Sibrand Poppema recently signed a five-year agreement in Canada with the Petroleum Technology Research Centre (PTRC) in Regina, as well as with the universities of Regina and Saskatchewan. The aim is to increase mutual knowledge of the structure of the oil reserves in the Saskatchewan region and to use this information to significantly improve oil extraction. But for the University it should yield even more.
The weekly online video magazine Unifocus highlights topics related to the University of Groningen in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
