Creative Do & Talk: Paint and Reflect on Violence Against Women
The Social Safety Program Team warmly invites you to a Creative Do & Talk session, where staff and students engage in open and safe dialogue about violence against women. We will consider questions such as: What would a world without gender-based violence actually look like?
This dialogue session is inspired by the global UN Women campaign, ‘Orange the World’, which runs from 25 November to 10 December 2025. The campaign raises awareness for violence against women and girls worldwide. You can find more information about the campaign on this website.
The dialogue will be led by Anita Wagner, trainer and coach at the HR Team Learning & Development, as well as by Margreet Hoek and Amber van der Vliet, Student Assistants of the Social Safety Program. They will make use of powerful dialogue techniques to encourage meaningful conversations.
The goal is twofold: to facilitate open dialogue and to increase awareness of the actions we can take in our own environments to help prevent violence against women. Creativity will support this process by deepening and bringing the conversation to life.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of role or experience. The session will be held in English.
After registering, you’ll receive a confirmation email. We’re looking forward to welcoming you!
Why Social Safety Dialogues?
As part of the university’s commitment to social safety, we’re inviting students and staff to join a series of monthly dialogues. Spaces where we slow down, reflect, and talk honestly about what it means to feel safe, respected, and part of a community. We believe that one of the most powerful tools we have is dialogue. Real, human, open-hearted dialogue.
