Education Festival 2026: Call for Contributions
Are you interested in sharing your ideas, experiences, or innovations in teaching and learning with colleagues across the university? We invite you to contribute to the Education Festival 2026!
This year’s theme, Values, Voices, and Vision, invites us to consider what shapes and strengthens our educational community. Our values guide the choices we make in teaching and learning, our voices reflect the diverse perspectives that contribute to a vibrant academic environment, and our vision helps us look ahead and imagine the future we want to create. As the University of Groningen prepares for its new institutional plan, the festival offers space to explore how these ideas come to life in our daily practice.
We welcome proposals for workshops, seminars, or panel discussions that spark conversation, inspire reflection, or showcase new approaches to learning and teaching. Whether you’re experimenting with a new method, collaborating with students or colleagues, or developing ideas that look ahead to the future of education, we encourage you to share your work.
The festival aims to create an active and engaging programme, so we ask that contributions include opportunities for participant interaction.
The deadline for submitting your proposal is 25th January 2026 (23:59). Once the submission period closes, we will review all proposals and contact contributors in the first week of February with further details.
