Education Festival Editions

The Education Festival is an annual gathering, traditionally held at the end of March, that brings together educational professionals from across the University of Groningen to share ideas, explore new approaches to teaching and learning, and celebrate educational innovation. Each year, the festival revolves around a central theme that shapes the programme and inspires discussion. Alongside workshops, seminars, panel discussions, and other interactive sessions, the festival also features a poster session where colleagues showcase ongoing projects and initiatives. The festival also hosts the Best Practice Awards (BPA), an annual celebration of best teaching practices at the university. The BPA recognises practices that demonstrate pedagogical approaches and learning practices aligned with the UG’s educational aims. Together, these activities create a collaborative space where our community can connect, exchange experiences, and inspire one another.
