Update code red: buildings remain closed on Wednesday

Conditions remain very slippery in the northern provinces, with the result that public transport will not start running until late in the afternoon. For this reason, the University of Groningen buildings will remain closed for the entire day. The University Library will also remain closed. Only PhD ceremonies in the Academy Building will go ahead as planned.

The resit exam scheduled for this evening will be rescheduled.

Partial online teaching and advice to work from home

The lecturer will decide whether teaching will continue online. Keep an eye on the messages from your lecturer. Tips for lecturers on online teaching can be found in this message (only visible to staff). Staff will work from home as long as the buildings are closed.

Safety first

No salt will be spread at the University of Groningen, Hanze University, and Campus Zernike for the time being. Please also be extra careful later on, as the roads may be slippery. Your safety and that of others is paramount.
