New European university network ‘The Guild’ established

The Guild

As of today, eighteen universities in twelve European countries are officially associated in a new university network: The Guild. The network unites European universities that demonstrate excellent achievements in teaching, research and policymaking. The University of Groningen is one of the participating universities.

The UG is joined in The Guild by one other Dutch university, the Radboud University in Nijmegen. The eighteen universities are:
