This thesis provides a detailed investigation of the YbeY-mediated regulation in P. aeruginosa RNA processing, stress response, pathogenesis and some realistic therapeutical options to combat infections caused by P. aeruginosa and carried out a detailed study on the action mechanisms. Our research provides a comprehensive understanding of P. aeruginosa pathogenesis regulation and some strong evidence to enhance the ability of existing antibiotics to treat P. aeruginosa infections. Our results shed light on the use of existing drugs to solve the current crisis of antimicrobial resistance that poses a huge threat to global public health.
