A ‘Foodie Heaven’ at University College Groningen
Tonys Chocolonely
The CCO of Tony's Chocolonely (yes, only the best chocolate bars in Holland!), Henk Jan Beltman, came by to give a lecture about the company, the sustainable cacao chain and his student life in Groningen. And of course, he didnt come empty handed :)
If you missed the lecture of Henk Jan, you can watch it right here: http://streaming3.service.rug.nl/p2gplayer/Player.aspx?id=eKO6SZ.
Smaackmakers
In the afternoon, the students learned more about a sustainable footprint and the now-a-day problems of our eating habits. Smaackmakers gave us an insight about what we eat and that how we eat can influence the environment.
You can watch the presentation from Smaackmakers online: http://streaming3.service.rug.nl/p2gplayer/Player.aspx?id=b5HnLL.
The day finished with a delicious buffet powered by Cousine, who let the students taste delicious vegan food.
It was a very tasteful day at UCG and we would like to thank everybody for coming.
