Project Presentation Day

Project Presentation Day is a full-day academic event held from 09:00 to 16:00, dedicated to showcasing the creative and intellectual work of UCG students from all year levels. Throughout the day, students present their projects in various rooms across the university, offering a dynamic and inspiring glimpse into the diverse interests and talents within our community.

From research and prototypes to performances and thought-provoking inquiries, the presentations span a wide range of disciplines and themes developed over the semester. This event is not only a celebration of academic achievement but also a reflection of the curiosity, collaboration, and creativity that define our learning environment.

Some of the exciting projects you'll encounter include:

• A multiplayer social-strategy game where players mask their identities, build trust, and uncover who’s really in control—blending psychology, design, and social dynamics.

• A machine learning approach to drug repurposing, using algorithms to identify molecules that best bind to the KRAS protein, potentially unlocking new treatments in the fight against cancer.

• An exploration of media influence on public opinion and legal outcomes, combining survey research and expert interviews to analyze how narratives shape real-world decisions.

• A critical examination of colonial history in the Hortus Botanicus in Amsterdam, uncovering how stories of exploitation, culture, and identity are embedded in the garden’s plants and how these legacies are acknowledged—or ignored—today.
