X. (Stuart, Xiang) Zhu, Dr

Dr. Stuart X. Zhu obtained his Ph.D. from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Dr. Zhu has built a strong cooperation with scholars in top universities in Mainland China and Hong Kong. He has acted as co-investigator of several projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China. He is a fellow of the research institute SOM. His research focuses on applications of stochastic dynamic programming, queueing theory, optimization theory, and game theory in sustainable operations, digital business, and renewable energy. He has published in, among others, Management Science, Transportation Science, Production and Operations Management, Omega: The International Journal of Management Science, European Journal of Operational Research,  International Journal of Production Economics,  etc. He teaches courses in the fields of logistics and supply chain management, operations management and control, planning & scheduling, game theory, and queueing theory.
