Research interests

I am an assistant professor and teacher educator at the University of Groningen with a passion for combining educational experience and theory. Moreover,  I am Chair of the Gamma cluster (History, Geography, Economics, Latin/Greek, Philosophy, Civics, and Religious Studies) within the Department of Teacher Education and a member of the Interuniversity Center for Educational Research (ICO). 


Specialties: Research on the teaching and learning of history, educational development, educational management, educational audits and assessments panels, coaching and training of (student) teachers.
