mr. J.P. (Jelle) Roelfsema

Jelle Roelfsema started working as a PhD Researcher at the Department of Constitutional Law, Administrative Law and Public Administration of the University of Groningen in 2016. Before starting a PhD project, he finished an LLB programme in Dutch Law and a BA programme in German Language and Culture as well as a Research LLM programme in Legal Science and Research at the University of Groningen. Moreover, he studied half a year at the University of Heidelberg (Germany) with an Erasmus grant. The PhD project touches both public and private law and can be placed in the field in-between these areas of law. Furthermore, he taught Administrative Law 1 and Constitutional Law 1 courses. Since 2020, he works as a legal advisor for the Ministry of Finance, Department of Legal Affairs.
