Secretary Faculty Board Arts
As board secretary, I play a key role in supporting and coordinating administrative processes within the Faculty of Arts. I advise the Faculty Board on policy dossiers, monitor administrative procedures and ensure good coordination and communication between the Faculty Board and other stakeholders within and outside the Faculty. In particular, I deal with the education dossier and the monitoring and evaluation of the Humanities Sector Plan. My colleague, board secretary Nadja Zadorina, is the contact person for the other dossiers.
Secretary of the national Decanenoverleg Letteren en Geesteswetenschappen (DLG)
I am also secretary of the national Decanenoverleg Letteren en Geesteswetenschappen (DLG), which consists of the deans of all faculties of arts and humanities in the Netherlands. The DLG is currently chaired by the dean of the UG. As secretary, I coordinate the national meetings and advise the DLG on national political-administrative issues that are relevant to the humanities sector. I also coordinate the administrative processes regarding the 16 national research schools in the field of arts and humanities. As secretary, I regularly coordinate with relevant partners, such as the SSH Council, UNL and the Ministry of OCW.
