prof. mr. dr. H.D. (Hein) Wolswijk

Hein Wolswijk (1965) is hoogleraar Straf- en strafprocesrecht. Hij studeerde Nederlands recht aan de Universiteit Utrecht (afstudeerrichting rechtstheorie, 1991, cum laude). Van 1993 tot en met 1996 was hij assistent in opleiding bij het Willem Pompe Instituut voor Strafrechtswetenschappen aan deze Universiteit. Hij promoveerde (cum laude) in 1998 op het proefschrift ‘Locus delicti en rechtsmacht’. Van 1997 tot 2000 was hij verbonden aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam, eerst bij het Centrum voor Milieurecht, daarna bij de Vakgroep Strafrecht. Sinds 2001 werkt hij bij de Vakgroep Strafrecht en Criminologie aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.

Hein Wolswijk (1965) is professor in Criminal Law. He studied law at Utrecht University, with special focus on Legal Theory. He graduated cum laude in 1991. Between 1993 and 1997 he conducted doctoral research at the Willem Pompe Institute of Criminal Law and Criminology at Utrecht University. He obtained his doctorate degree cum laude for his PhD thesis Locus delicti en rechtsmacht (Locus Delicti and Jurisdiction, 1998). From 1997 until 2000 he worked at the Centre for Environmental Law and the Department of Criminal Law of the University of Amsterdam. Since 2001 he works at the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the University of Groningen.
