In this overview, I present the milestones achieved throughout my professional trajectory.

I successfully completed my Bachelor's degree in Primary Education in 2016 with outstanding grade. Subsequently, in 2017, I got my first job at the University of Almeria as a Research Support Technician in public call of the Junta de Andalucía (contract financed by the Eropean Social Fund). Concurrently, I initiated my pursuit of educational research, gaining admission to the Master's program in Didactic Research and Evaluation in the Classroom for Teaching Professional Development. Upon my completion of this program, I was honored with an exceptional End of Studies award and acquired a prestigious PhD scholarship through the University Teacher Training program, paving the way for my doctoral studies.

Over the past four years as a PhD candidate, I have proficiently communicated my research outcomes through various scholarly mediums:

  • I authored nine research papers, two of which are indexed in Journal Citation Reports (JCR).

  • Additionally, I contributed to four book chapters, two of which are indexed in Scholarly Publishers Indicators (SPI).

  • My active participation in significant conferences encompasses prominent events within the Spanish context, such as Encuentros de la Didáctica de las Ciencias Experimentales, and on an international scale, including ESERA and Science Education at the European level, as well as NARST in the United States.

During this tenure, I conducted research stays at distinguished Science Education institutions, namely Instituto de Educaçao (University of Lisbon), Institute for Science Education and Communication (University of Groningen), and Centre de Recerca per a l'Educació Científica i Matemática (Autonomous University of Barcelona).

Presently, I am engaged as a postdoctoral researcher in diverse projects:

  • Erasmus + projects funded by the European Union: 1) Sustainable Mobility in School Education; and 2) Artificial Intelligence for Professional and Pedagogical Practices in Higher Education.
  • Valorization project funded by the Netherlands government: An AI-based learning framework for personalised training of technical personnel

Additionally, I contribute to the teaching coordination at the journal Aula de Innovación Educativa (Graó publishing house) and serve as a reviewer for various research journals, including Eureka.

In the field of teaching, I've gained extensive pedagogical experience over four years as a lecturer during my doctoral thesis, delivering a cumulative total of 240 hours in the Bachelor's degree programs of Primary Education and Early Childhood Education at the University of Almería. Notably, in 2023, I served as the course coordinator and instructor for the "Research Methods in Science Education and Communication" course, part of the Master's program in Science Education and Communication.
