dr. E.P.M. Croonen
Evelien Croonen (1978) is an assistant professor at the Department of Innovation Management & Strategy of the Faculty of Economics and Business. In 2006 she finished her PhD research about interactions between franchisors and franchisees during strategic change processes in franchise systems. She is currently involved in several studies regarding strategy and management of franchise systems and performance of franchise systems and franchisees. Her teaching activities focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), small business strategy and management, franchising, and innovation and entrepreneurship. Evelien also regularly acts as a visiting professor for the Master of Marketing, Franchising, Retail and Service Chains at IGR-IAE of the University of Rennes 1, and as a guest lecturer on franchising at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen. In June 2016 she organizes and chairs the scientific conference for the International Society of Franchising (ISoF).
