Speerpunten

Dr. Cyril Moers (1979) studeerde Geneeskunde aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen waar hij in 2005 zijn artsexamen behaalde (cum laude) en in 2011 promoveerde (cum laude). Gedurende 2008 – 2015 volgde hij zijn opleiding Chirurgie in het UMCG (2008 – 2011), Martini Ziekenhuis (2011-2015), Oxford University Hospitals, UK (2013) en Medisch Centrum Leeuwarden (2015). Vanaf 2015 heeft dr. Moers een gecombineerde aanstelling in het UMCG als transplantatiechirurg en tenure track onderzoeker. Zijn wetenschappelijke aandachtsgebieden zijn: Reparatie en beoordeling van donornieren vóór transplantatie, hypo- en normotherme machineperfusie van donornieren en predictiemodellen voor de uitkomst na niertransplantatie.
