prof. dr. A.W. Friedrich
Teaching needs to be practice oriented and explain students the concepts of Medical Microbiology and Infection prevention. It is important to explain the art of medical science and to make students enthusiastic about medical microbiology, infectious disease and the prevention of healthcare associated infections.
Teaching is done for students of Medicine, Lifescience as well as Infection Control Practitioners.
I teach Medical Microbiology and Infection Prevention in Groningen for students of the Dutch curriculum as well as for the International Bachelor. Furthermore, I give classes for the students of the European Medical School in Oldenburg.
Post-graduate teaching is done for fellows in medical microbiology and also for fellows in infectious disease.
Post-graduate teaching for ICP is done within the training program of the Wenckebach-Institue in Groningen.
Several of our EU-funded cross-border projects have teaching of infection prevention is their focus.
