Planning, preparation and submission of the proposal for the 3-years research project “Rechtsvergleichung und Grenzen der Rechtsangleichung: Die Unwirksamkeit überfordernder Bürgschaften von Nicht-Unternehmern in Europa“.

The project was selected for funding by the Central Research Funding Office (Zentrale Forschungsförderung) of BremenUniversity, and then funded from 2007 until 2009, for a total amount of ca. 150.000 EUR.

2003

Planning, preparation and submission of the proposal for a Marie Curie Host Fellowships for the Transfer of Knowledge project „Protection from Unfair Suretyships in the European Union“.

The project, based on a partnership between the ZERP/University of Bremen and the University of Oxford, was selected for funding by the European Commission and then funded from 2004 until 2007 for a total amount of ca. 540.000 EUR.

2001

Planning (together with G. Brüggemeier and G. Comandé), preparation and submission of the proposal for a Research Training Network „Fundamental Rights and Private Law in the European Union“.

The network, composed of nine research institutions from eight Member States of the EU, was selected for funding by the European Commission and then funded from 2002 until 2006 for a total amount of 1.500.000 EUR.
