My research focuses on health literacy and communication to promote health, equity and participation of individuals and populations. Especially, those who are at risk for adverse outcomes are an important target group within my research. Examples of populations at risk are children born prematurely, individuals with low health literacy, individuals with multiple unhealthy behaviours and children or adolescents with mental health problems.
