In addition to his work as lecturer (University of Groningen/UMCG), Alain Dekker is also head of the department of Practice-oriented Scientific Research of Alliade Care Group, a large care organization providing intellectual disability care and elderly care to >8000 people in the Dutch province of Friesland.
