The system for acquiring, storing and processing data from sensor networks will be used across a number of fields.
The innovations will be used by e-Vitality, an e-health platform which offers assistance and bridges the gap between patients - with their own movement trackers- and professional care providers, as physiotherapists. Thanks to e-Vitality we collect large numbers of data from patients measurements in order to extract knowledge. These data are assets for companies such as e.g. the University Medical Centre Groningen (UMCG) or Certe Medische Diagnostiek & Advies in order to further optimize their research.
The Stichting DO! (Duurzaam Ooststellingwerf, a foundation for a sustainable Ooststellingwerf, a municipality in the Frisian province) is founded by:
- entrepreneurs: in order to promote local sustainability
- Autark Energy Systems BV: an installation company which works on the implementation of sustainable innovations with regards to the energy transition, in collaboration with network managers and energy suppliers

In the same way, Rijkswaterstaat, responsible for the design, construction, management and maintenance of the main infrastructure facilities in the Netherlands is involved in the innovative use of vehicle sensor data.
