SURF innovation project grant Feedback Go

17 May 2021

Big news this week, the UG received a SURF grant related to gaining more insight into feedback tools. The goal of the project is to see how both teaching staff and students are helped by the use of feedback tools and how this translates into the learning objectives of the courses. A dashboard will be created where the data will be visualised in real time by the use of artificial intelligence, machine learning and learning analytics. The use of these techniques will enable personalised and real time feedback on a large scale. The ‘IguideME’ dashboard will give teachers and students information on their actual use of feedback tools and how this influences their learning process.

At the UG, those involved are Hans Beldhuis and Vincent de Boer (CIT), the Faculty of Law, the Legal Department and the Language Centre. At FEB, those involved are Gwenny Ruel, Maarten Gijsenberg, Orest Ifteme, Jan Riezebos, Martijn Keizer, Koos Winnips (Project Manager UG). In collaboration with the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and Free University (VU).
