The dynamics of excited states and charges in hybrid halide perovskites are of key importance for the understanding of their exceptional performance in solar cells. Moreover, a thorough understanding will also give direction to the design of new materials with improved functionality for solar cells and other applications. In this work we have used time-resolved conductivity techniques to study the mobility of charges, both in the most commonly studied 3D lead halide perovskites and in more stable multilayer 2-dimensional materials. It is shown that the multilayer materials give an additional handle to tune several properties, including the band gap and the exciton binding energy.
