14 March 2022

As of February 1st, 2022, Antonija Grubišić-Čabo joined our team as Assistant Professor in Experimental Nanophysics with Advanced Spectroscopic and Structural Analysis Methods.

Dr. Antonija Grubišić-Čabo
Dr. Antonija Grubišić-Čabo

Antonija is a nanoscientist by training and will primarily use time- and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy to study 2D and quantum materials. Time- and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy is a technique that directly maps the electronic structure of materials, and can be used to track the response of the material to photoexcitation. Antonija obtained her MSc at the University of Zagreb and her PhD at Aarhus University. Following her PhD, Antonija was a postdoctoral research fellow with Prof. Michael Fuhrer at Monash University, Melbourne, for 2 and a half years and at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, with Prof. Oscar Tjernberg for another 2 years.

Antonija will soon have an opening for a PhD student, so if you are interested and have obtained your Masters degree in physics, nanoscience or a related area, keep an eye on the vacancies announcements.
