Erik van der Giessen wins 2018 Solid Mechanics Prize
Erik van der Giessen wins the Solid Mechanics Prize of the European Mechanics Society in recognition of "his seminal contributions in a wide range of multi-scale mechanics topics, including metal plasticity, polymer science and engineering, cell biomaterials as well as adhesion."
The prize will be awarded during the 10th European Solid Mechanics Conference (2 - 6 July 2018).
