Jelle Aalbers receives Scholarship of Teaching and Learning grant for education innovation

VSI staff member Jelle Aalbers has been awarded a Scholarship of Teaching and Learning grant from the Dutch National Education Institute (NKO). In his large introductory course on electricity and magnetism, Jelle will study if students benefit from regular written practice supported by feedback from a locally hosted artificial intelligence model. Specifically, Jelle will study if this helps students to better explain the physical meaning behind their own mathematical calculations.
