The FotU is an initiative between the Bernoulli Institute, the Kapteyn Institute and the van Swinderen Institute for Particle Physics and Gravity with the aim of building interdisciplinary research. The institute currently has 8 PhD fellows, who work on topics that are cross-disciplinary between these institutes. We are actively working towards expanding the FotU research theme with full time members and to make it a leading institute in the world.

In the morning we will have three talks by FotU fellows and in the afternoon we will have three talks by senior speakers from the FotU institutes.
