Title:

Complete Integrability and Separability in Black-Hole Spacetime

Abstract:

Black holes in four and higher dimensions possess a special object, called a principal tensor. We demonstrate how this object generates a complete set of Poisson-commuting integrals of motion and makes it possible for the complete separation of variables in important field equations. I shall focus on recent results on separability of Maxwell and massive field (Proca) equations in Kerr-NUT_(A)dS spacetimes and possible astrophysical applications of these results.
