Migration & Mobility

Within the topic area, Migration & Mobility, we study internal and international migration, as well as daily mobility and immobility. Our specialties include long-term staying (for example in rural areas), outdoor and indoor mobility of older adults, and residential relocations in a family and household context. Among the methods we use are GPS tracking, walking interviews and in-depth interviews, and statistical analysis of data derived from registers and surveys.
