Inaugural Speech (Oratie)
On November 22nd, Ron Holzhacker was inaugurated as professor in Comparative Multi-Level Governance and Regional Structure in the Faculty of Spatial Sciences. His lecture ‘ Building Bridges: Governance, Societal Impact, and Sustainable Society in Southeast Asia ’ focused on how we reach decisions within our societies, and the process of interaction between citizens, civil society organizations, and institutions to reach collective decisions. Holzhacker (Chicago, US, 1961) is UEF professor by special appointment.
