Four new data science projects

The CDH is delighted to announce that four new data science projects in Digital Humanities will start soon. The DH data science projects were selected in an university-wide competition organised by Research and Innovation Support, a part of CIT. The CDH co-funds the four projects.

The four selected projects are:

  • Robert Prey and Marc Esteve Del Valle, Platform Pop: Spotify’s Role as an Intermediary in the Music Industry
  • Andrea Sangiacomo, Rewriting Nature: studying the early modern scientific vocabulary in the Republic of Letters with word2vec
  • Martijn Wieling and Nanna Hilton, Automatic recognition of Frisian speakers: using computers to discriminate the Frisian accent and voice
  • Jacolien van Rij , Automatic Processing of Eye Tracking Movies
