Join the National Open Science Festival in Groningen

02 June 2025

On Friday 24 October 2025, the annual National Open Science Festival will take place, this time at the UMCG in Groningen. At this festival, researchers and other interested parties can learn more about open science, exchange experiences, and find inspiration for applying open science in daily practice.

Register for all parts

Registration for all parts of the festival is now open. You can register as a participant and also submit a proposal for a parallel session, information stand, or — for the first time — a poster.

Registration for participants will close once the maximum capacity of 400 is reached. Thereafter, interested individuals may register for a place on the waiting list. Please note: those submitting proposals for workshops, the information market, or posters are also required to register as participants.

Registration for workshops, posters, and the information market closes on 30 June 2025. The programme committee will review proposals in July and notify applicants in August whether their contribution will be included in the festival.
