Pavel E. Mancera Piña wins Van Swinderen prize 2022
On 13 December dr. Pavel E. Mancera Piña was awarded the Koninklijk Natuurkundig Genootschap (KNG)'s Van Swinderen prize 2022 for his PhD thesis Dark matter and angular momentum in nearby disc galaxies. This prize is for the best cum laude thesis at the Faculty Science and Engineering and Faculty of Medical Sciences in the course of the last year. Pavel E. Mancera Piña won both the prize of the public and the price of the jury.
