The Workshop qualitative network analysis by dr. Başak Bilecen will be moved online , same time (14-16h). Registration is still open, so feel free to sign up if you haven't done so before. See details about the workshop here.

The presentation by Vincenz Frey on trust in networks will be moved to a later date , when we can meet in person. The same goes for the celebratory drinks.

We are looking forward to speaking and raising our glasses with you in person, and we will, some day! We will keep an eye out on developments and plan our next meeting accordingly.

-------------------

We celebrate 1 year of The Patio with a half-day programme.

First, dr. Başak Bilecen (Associate Professor of Sociology and Rosalind Franklin Fellow at the University of Groningen) will start with a two-hour workshop on qualitative social network analysis. The workshop provides an introduction to the theories, concepts, and relevant studies on personal networks. After giving an overview of the current assumptions and techniques of qualitative network research, the participants will get familiar with different ways of data collection and analysis including the software called VennMaker.

Following the workshop, there will be a presentation by an invited guest speaker (to be announced). At the end of the sessions you are welcome to join for drinks to celebrate our anniversary.
