News on NWO ‘Mosaic 3.0’

Certain groups lag behind in science in terms of numbers, such as first- and second-generation researchers with a non-Western migration background. The NWO Mosaic 2.0 programme exists to promote their access to science. Another NWO programme, Hestia, focuses specifically on academics who have fled their home countries. As the latter programme is coming to an end and has recently opened its final round, NWO is expanding the Mosaic programme to include a part of the expiring Hestia programme target group: refugee junior researchers living in the Netherlands: ‘Mosaic 3.0’

The first Mosaic 3.0 call is expected to open in the second quarter of this year.
