Acceptance

Vehicle automation and interventions aimed at changing various behavioural aspects of human behaviour (for example transport mode choice) can be quite effective, but often must achieve some kind of acceptance from the intended users/target group. This is especially true if uptake of the system is voluntary. Research in this area seeks to examine what factors are important in the acceptance of new technologies, and interventions.
