People involved in the CDD
Below, you can find an overview of the people involved in the CDD.

Barry de Groot is an Assistant Professor in Special Needs/Learning Disorders.

Roel Jonkers is Professor of Neurolinguistics. This chair includes the research into speech- and language disorders in children and adults, including developmental and acquired reading disorders. He is promotor in PhD projects in dyslexia and formally the chair of the CDD.

Dörte de Kok is Assistant Professor in Neurolinguistics . In her reserach she focuses on translating scientific outcomes to society. As Managing Director of the CDD, she works mainly in the background. She is also involved in the SDF-project, as the lead applicant and in the execution of the project.

Alexander Minnaert is Professor of Inclusion and Special Needs Education & Clinical Educational Sciences. He is promotor for PhD-projects in the area of learning- and teachingproblems: motivation and emotion, social and emotional learning, learning disorders, autism spectrum disorder, giftedness and twice exceptional students, professionalization of teachers, more inclusive education and implementation and effect research in the behavioral sciences.

Liset Rouweler is a researcher in the area of Neurolinguistics. Her research is aimed at the impact of dyslexia in higher education. Within the CDD, she is involved in research on dyslexia, but also the daily business, especially the diagnostic process.
