Fellowship for Innovation of Teaching for Melgert

Recently the Fellowships for Innovation of Teachin g were awarded to 9 teachers of the University, who are involved in teaching excellence. Prof. Barbro Melgert from Pharmacokinetics, Toxicology and Targeting, was one of the winners. Rector Magnificus prof. dr. Elmer Sterken awarded the fellowships on behalf of the Board of the University.

The FITs focus on innovation in excellence education, with the purpose to exchange ideas and experiences. Prof. Barbro Melgert will use the fellowship for hardware with which students can create and annotate short movies of important experimental techniques they encounter in their research project. These ‘Mookies’ will be used as evaluation (proof) that a student has acquired the necessary skills and will be used as a starting point for new students to learn the presented techniques.
