Presenting in English

This course is organized in cooperation with the Language Centre, University of Groningen.

This course aims at familiarizing the participants with different forms of presenting one’s research, also taking into account varying habits in different disciplines.

Apart from presenting one’s research in this group and gaining valuable feedback on one’s presentation skills, various examples of (academic) presentations will be shown and discussed. Some senior researchers will discuss their experiences in presenting their research with the group.

Format of the course:

• In person
• 3-hour sessions for 3 weeks
• Maximum of 6 participants

Please note that attendance of all three sessions is compulsory and that this course will be offered in-person only.
